Residential Advisor – Teen

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Residential Advisors in a teen group home setting. Residential Advisors provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to adolescents in a structured, safe, and supportive environment. This role is essential in helping teens build life skills, develop healthy behaviors, and achieve personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support residents during daily activities and routines
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive living environment
- Build healthy, professional relationships with teens
- Encourage positive behavior and emotional growth
- Assist residents with life skills, communication, and problem-solving
- Monitor resident behavior and document daily progress accurately
- Support treatment goals and behavior plans
- Facilitate recreational activities, house meetings, and group interactions
- Transport residents to appointments, school, or activities if needed
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations and follow safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and treatment team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with teens, behavioral health, mental health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
- Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
- Must pass a Livescan background check and drug screening
