Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Parts Warehouse Clerk to join our team! In this vital role, you will manage inventory, process parts orders, and support efficient warehouse operations. Your expertise will help ensure that our automotive parts and accessories are sourced, stored, and dispatched seamlessly to meet production and customer needs.
Essential Functions:
This position will perform inventory control of spare parts, plant supplies, maintenance tools and repair items. Will receive inbound shipments and support the facility by ensuring the maintenance department has parts to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
Responsibility:
- Skilled in operating stand-up, sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
- Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against purchase orders, acknowledgements and bills of lading.
- Examine products for defects and accuracy, report any shortage and defective items to Purchasing Manager.
- Update internal databases with Purchase Order details (vendors, quantities, discounts, part numbers and cost)
- Stores incoming items in storeroom or other designated areas, or delivers items directly to a department or specified location.
- Perform cycle counts on supplies and spare parts
- Assists in taking annual physical inventories of supplies, store items and tools.
- Maintains housekeeping of storeroom and area outside of storeroom at all times.
- Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Always uses safe work practices, follows all safety rules and procedures, immediately reports any hazardous conditions, and fully participates in safety programs.
- Moderate physical exertion requiring standing, walking and lifting 50lbs.
- Mechanical ability and technical aptitude to acquire product knowledge
- Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to continuously prioritize responsibilities to meet the needs of a changing environment
- Ability to work in a team environment

- Organized and detail oriented

Pay: $18.60 per hour
