ANEW provides innovative residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment services to women and women with children. We guide women to and through recovery by keeping them accountable to their goals. The IHFR Clinician delivers trauma-informed, harm-reduction-based in-home clinical services to families involved with Child Protection. This role provides parent-child and substance use disorder treatment to families with young children under age 6 using the In-Home Family Recovery (IHFR) model.

Provide inhome psychotherapy and substance use treatment using IHFR model

Deliver culturally responsive, traumainformed clinical care to 12 families

Serve as parentchild therapist for 6 families and behavioral health therapist for 6 others

Maintain clinical documentation and administer standardized tools (DA, ASQ, PSI, CTQ)

Collaborate with Child Protection and Hennepin County Behavioral Health

Participate in weekly consultation sessions to ensure treatment fidelity

Facilitate and attend Social Club on a rotating basis

Provide transportation and crisis support to participants as needed

Build longterm relationships through unconditional positive regard and client advocacy

Support teammates through case consultation and clinical coverage

Use deescalation strategies, flexibility, and creativity in dynamic situations
WAGE RANGE: $70,000-$80,000
Reports to: IHFR Clinical Supervisor

Master’s degree in Social Work or related field

Licensed (or working toward licensure) in Mental Health or Substance Use Disorders; LADC preferred

Experience in parentchild therapy, substance use treatment, and early childhood mental health

Understanding of harm reduction and traumainformed approaches

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Criminal/driving background check required
