Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic design team. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements for kitchen renovations and remodels.
- Develop detailed design concepts using CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools like Rhino or 3ds Max.
- Create comprehensive construction detail documentation and building information modeling (BIM) to guide project execution.
- Produce high-quality renderings and CAD presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic design software to visualize designs effectively.
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards for residential interior projects.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Prepare detailed specifications for lighting design, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes while considering color theory and aesthetic harmony.
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Assist in renovation planning by integrating construction experience into practical design solutions that optimize space and functionality.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential interior design projects with a strong portfolio showcasing kitchen designs.
- Proficiency in CAD software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, 3ds Max, and Rhinoceros 3D for drafting and 3D modeling purposes.
- Skilled in rendering techniques using Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design tools to create compelling visual presentations.
- Knowledge of building code compliance and construction detail documentation for residential spaces.
- Experience managing complete design projects from concept development through installation while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Familiarity with lighting sales, lighting design principles, remodeling processes, and renovation strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with project teams.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
