Summary of Position:
The Houseman attendant performs a variety of housekeeping duties including preparing bags, delivering clean linens to the assigned residences, picking up dirty linens from residences and laundering linen.
Some of the duties will include ensuring that assigned residences are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. The houseman attendant should also be able to assist guest requests and queries promptly and in a polite manner. The houseman attendant must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures and standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize the linens for the day-to-day housekeeping operations when the inventory attendant is absent.
- Makes supply bags and linen bags.
- Deliver the linen bags to the assigned residences.
- Count the general inventory from each residence after guest checkout.
- Remove and collect dirty linens from each residence after guest checkout.
- Remove and collect garbage from each residence after guest checkout.
- Pick up linens and extra items after cleaning.
- Do the laundry for pillowcases, washcloths, bathmats, kitchen towels and cleaning cloths.
- Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Reorganize the extra linens and supplies that Housekeeping didn’t use.
- Collecting and disposing of trash from under B2 and common areas.
- Assist members with requests of amenities such of Perform the Towel & Trash service daily from 11am to 1pm.
- Keeping the linen room stocked.
- Enter any noticeable repairs needed in residences or any cleaning discrepancies in HotSos.
- Assist members with requests for additional amenities such as (toaster, pack 'n play, towels, etc.)
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards, policies and procedures are followed.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Refill the pool towels bin at the pool and remove the dirty towels.
- Drive the company van responsibly and at a max speed of 20 miles per hour.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
