Security Officer – Onsite
Location: 94-520 Kunia Road, Kunia, HI 96758 – Oʻahu
Pay: $25.00 per hour on W2
Work arrangement: 100% onsite
Schedule: Rotating shifts with availability for overtime and weekends
We are seeking a dependable Security Officer to protect employees, visitors, facilities, company property, and information assets at an onsite corporate location in Kunia, Hawaii.
This position includes uniformed patrols, static security posts, emergency response, incident investigation, and coordination with law enforcement and emergency-service personnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile patrols of roadways, parking lots, and assigned property.
- Monitor the site and prevent trespassing or unauthorized entry.
- Protect company property against theft, damage, or misuse.
- Investigate and respond to calls for security assistance.
- Respond to intrusion, equipment, and fire alarms.
- Assist with employee and visitor evacuations during emergencies.
- Provide CPR, first aid, and emergency assistance during an illness or injury.
- Conduct initial investigations involving accidents or crimes against employees or company property.
- Maintain safety and order during emergency situations.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely computer-generated incident reports.
- Coordinate with employees, contractors, visitors, law enforcement, emergency services, and security vendors.
- Make sound independent decisions as conditions change.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous law enforcement, military, and/or corporate security experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Hawaii Guard Card.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills and ability to prepare professional written reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and shifts exceeding eight hours when necessary.
- Ability to maintain all training and certifications required by the State of Hawaii.
Pay: $24.99 - $25.00 per hour
