Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food handling and sanitation tasks
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
- Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in guest relations and service delivery
