Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures; including prophy, debridement, srp, and polishing teeth.
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
Skills:
- Experience with Dentrix dental software systems for medical documentation and patient record management
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
