POSITION TITLE: Front desk Associate/Night Auditor
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Front Desk Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensures guests have a smooth stay at the hotel.
As the Front desk associate, one should act as the bridge between the front and the back office. While coordinating the operation, you will also ensure that all guests experience a fantastic stay.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be hospitable to guest and other employees
- Welcomes guests and fosters customer loyalty through his/her friendly manner.
- Attentions to details to ensure proper reservations and billing.
- Should be able to work flexible scheduling. Holidays and Weekend availability is required due to the nature of the hospitality industry. This is an 11pm-7am shift two to three days a week.
- Customer Satisfaction (Guest Feedback, Social Media Review).
- Develops high quality relationships with guests throughout their stay.
- Handles any guest complaints or contentious issues.
- Provide high level of customer service and maintain a high profile in the day to day front office operations.
- Front desk employees are required to be well presented (uniforms, personal hygiene etc.), and punctual.
- Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy
- Have a good knowledge of all systems and standard operating procedures of front office.
- Ensures that guest documentation and information is available and up-to-date.
- Ability to stand for long hours and lift at least 50lbs.
- Maintain clean office and surroundings
- Troubleshoot guestroom issues
PREREQUISITIES:
Well-developed communication and customer relations skills. Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. Class C driver’s license required.
