Maximus is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our quality network of independent contractors and provide a valuable service to the adult citizens of Delaware.

Opportunity Overview:
Maximus is an industry leader in providing specialized assessment services, with a mission of ensuring that the individuals and populations we serve receive the appropriate care and supports necessary to promote the best quality of life.
We are partnered with the State of Delaware to administer PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.
PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that all individuals seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility are evaluated for mental illness, offered the most appropriate setting for their needs, and receive the services they need in those settings.
We are partnering with quality-driven, licensed RNs and LCSWs in Delaware to administer these PASRR assessments on a PRN basis.
Responsibilities/ Duties/ Expectations:
- This is an independent contractor position conducting onsite PASRR assessments.
- Contact and schedule time to meet with the individual to be assessed.
- Review all supporting documentation and available records.
- Complete the assessment at the individual's current location, typically in a hospital or nursing home.
- Complete and return assessment within 48 hours of accepting the referral.
- Assessments can be accepted or declined in accordance with your schedule.
- Assessments will be completed within your community or surrounding communities. There is no office to report to.
- Compensation is per completed assessment.
Qualifications:
- Delaware licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 years of psychiatric experience
- Delaware Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 1 year of medical experience and 2 years of psychiatric experience.
- Must be conflict of interest free, which includes: no employment by the State of Delaware, no employment with Managed Care Organizations (such as AmeriHealth Caritas or Highmark Health Options), and free of any affiliation with nursing facilities.
