As an Automations and Control Engineer, you will have the opportunity to
- Prototype, design, upgrade, and support automated systems in a collaborative environment.
- Integrate state-of-the-art hardware including robots, cameras, sensors, and servo motors.
- Write software to automate systems, create user interfaces, and synthesize industrial internet of things (IIOT) data.
- Research and develop emerging automation technologies – especially robotics, computer vision, and machine learning.
- Use communication skills to convey technical information to engineering, operations, and management personnel.
- Work hands-on with systems to ensure they are built, commissioned, and function as required.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. (Required)
- 1 year of CAD experience, SolidWorks. (Preferred)
- Ability to create and interpret technical documents including schematic diagrams.
- Experience configuring computers (networking, software, peripherals).
- Strong programming abilities in any language.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting low voltage control systems is preferred.
- Experience programming industrial controllers and robots is preferred.
- Ability to positively work as part of a team.
