We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Finance Partner to support our Consumer Banking operating segment. This role will serve as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience translating financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance, profitability, and growth. This position requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven analysis.
Essential Functions
- Partner with Consumer Banking Lending leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic guidance.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning models for both revenue generating business units and support functions.
- Analyze key business drivers, trends, profitability, and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and financial packages for senior management.
- Support business case development, pricing analysis, product profitability reviews, and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and Business Line teams to ensure alignment of financial results and forecasts.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.
- Assist in annual strategic planning, budgeting, and stress-testing exercises.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
