At Gardens Care Senior Living, we are looking for a Housekeeper who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. What You’ll Do:
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and bathrooms to ensure a clean and inviting environment for both residents and visitors.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met according to company policies and health regulations.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and distributing resident clothing and linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by interacting with residents and addressing any specific cleaning needs they may have.
- Maintain supplies and inventory, ensuring cleaning products are stocked and ready for use.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping experience (preferred, but not required). Experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Compassionate, friendly, and respectful attitude toward residents and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of caregivers and other staff members.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
