Responsibilities
- Detail oriented, with sound judgement and experience to process full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable. Manage the daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes to ensure timely, accurate posting of transactions ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Skills
- ADP experience (Process Payroll)
- Daily reconciliation, entry, and posting of vendor invoices into the ERP system using the 3-way match of PO, Receiving, and Vendor Invoice. Process vendor payments.
- Request and reconcile month end statements from vendors ensuring accuracy between the company’s payables ledger and the vendors receivables.
- Daily processing of customer invoices based on packing slips shipped. Enter and post the invoices in the ERP system. Send invoices to customers. Daily posting of cash receipts. Report daily bank balances to management.
- Contact customers with delinquent accounts. Report late payments or requests for extensions to pay to management.
- Daily reconciliation of bank transactions.
- Perform month end, quarter end, and year-end financial closes based on the companies closing schedule for each.
- Support the companies outside CPA by preparing and sending the year-end schedules based on the Prepared by Client (PBC) list provided by the CPA.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports, such as balance sheet, profit and loss statements.
- Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supports the company’s quality policy and quality objectives by: accounting for total costs by monitoring fixed costs, variable costs, contribution margin, productivity ratio, and explores opportunities to continually improve and streamline job responsibilities.

Pay: $48.00 - $53.00 per hour
