Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8-hour shift

Position Summary
We are currently seeking an accomplished and detail-driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with extensive QuickBooks Desktop expertise. This role is crucial to our financial integrity and requires a candidate with a robust accounting background, particularly within the construction industry. The ideal candidate demonstrates meticulous accuracy, advanced problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable Management:
- Process and manage vendor invoices, oversee payments, and ensure timely reconciliation and resolution of vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records, proactively manage vendor relationships, and oversee outstanding balances.
- Construction Financial Oversight:
- Execute detailed job costing, project billing, lien releases, and financial compliance tasks specific to construction.
- Assist in preparing construction-specific financial reports and audits.
- Financial Analysis & Auditing:
- Conduct thorough audits of client and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Propose process enhancements and assist with special financial projects.
- Payroll Processing
- Record, enter, and process payroll
- Documentation & Data Management:
- Expertly utilize QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Excel, and DocuSign to maintain precise financial documentation.
- Implement and maintain digital record-keeping systems efficiently and securely.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Address and resolve complex billing and payment inquiries promptly and professionally.
- DMV Registrations and Inspections
- Communicates with field for compliance
- Turnkey retrieval of registration stickers (Travel required)
Qualifications
- Required:
- Minimum 5 years of extensive QuickBooks Desktop experience, particularly in AP roles.
- Strong background in construction industry accounting.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex financial tasks accurately under tight deadlines.
- Preferred:
- Experience with administrative financial management roles.
- Familiarity with DocuSign and advanced digital documentation management.

- Work Environment: On-site at our Round Rock, TX office location (McNeil & IH-35).
- Commute/Relocation: Reliable commuting required; relocation prior to start date preferred.
