We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long Term Substitute to join our educational team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide consistent, high-quality instruction and support to students in a classroom setting for an extended period. Duties
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards across various subjects, including Religion, Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to Priority topics, diverse learners and encourages engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and specialists to support students
- Follow mandated reporting laws and school policies to ensure student safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral incidents
- Foster positive relationships with students by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their social-emotional development
Skills
- Knowledge of curriculum in lesson planning, and instructional strategies across elementary education
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while nurturing a supportive learning environment
- Experience working with children of varying ages
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt lesson to meet needs of all learners
- Become familiar of school policy guidelines, mandated reporting laws

Pay: $28.00 - $31.50 per hour
