We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting issues and performing necessary adjustments.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to access various components of machinery and equipment.
- Repair air brake systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with our other mechanics and technicians to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with diesel engines and HVAC systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Familiarity with air brake systems and industrial equipment repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications or training in diesel mechanics is preferred but not mandatory.
