You’ll be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, managing POS transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Background in hospitality or customer service roles demonstrating guest-focused approach
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Serving or host/host experience that highlights guest relations skills
