Position Summary:
The driver will drive truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials and will also perform necessary labor if needed. Driver will need to be available for on-call service response in emergency situations due to contracts with private utility corporations.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Must follow Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct.
- Transport equipment and material to and from worksites.
- Dump construction materials such as sand, gravel, earth, stone, asphalt, waste products, lumber and other materials.
- Must be able to tow truck and trailer combination with a GVW over 26,001 lbs.
- Responsible for inspecting, maintaining equipment, and submitting required DOT records.
- Exercise proper care, maintenance, and operation of company equipment.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
Hiring Requirements:
- Have and maintain a valid unrestricted CDL A driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
- Available for on-call service response in emergency situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
