Job Summary
The Director of Development & Community Partnerships is responsible for leading fundraising, grant development, donor engagement, sponsorship acquisition, community outreach, and partnership development for the ICS Community Wellness Foundation. This position plays a vital role in advancing the Foundation's mission to increase access to compassionate mental health care for underserved individuals and families.
The Director will work closely with Foundation leadership and the Board of Directors to develop sustainable funding streams, cultivate community relationships, and support the long-term growth and impact of the organization.
Responsibilities
Fundraising & Development
- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with individual donors.
- Create and manage recurring donor programs.
- Coordinate donor stewardship activities, including thank-you communications and impact reporting.
- Assist in developing annual fundraising goals and budgets.
- Track fundraising outcomes and prepare reports for leadership and the Board.
- Grant Research & Writing
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and community organizations.
Community Partnerships
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, healthcare organizations, and community leaders.
- Seek sponsorship opportunities and community collaborations.
- Represent the Foundation at community meetings, networking events, and outreach activities.
- Promote awareness of the Foundation's programs and mission.
Events & Campaign Management
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events and community engagement activities.
- Recruit and manage volunteers for events and initiatives.
- Assist with marketing and promotion of fundraising campaigns.
- Support online fundraising and social media engagement efforts.
Administrative & Strategic Support
- Maintain donor, sponsor, and grant records.
- Assist with development of strategic plans and annual objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations for Board meetings.
- Ensure fundraising activities comply with nonprofit and ethical fundraising standards.
- Collaborate with Foundation leadership to evaluate program impact and community needs.
- Prepare, write, and submit grant applications and letters of inquiry.
- Manage grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Maintain a grant calendar and funding pipeline.
- Develop outcome reports and supporting documentation for funders.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit development, marketing, community engagement, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and donor management systems.
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit development or grant management.
- Knowledge of mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, or community services.
- Experience working with foundations, community organizations, or faith-based organizations.
- Familiarity with donor management software and fundraising platforms.

Compensation
Part-Time Position (20–25 hours per week)
Compensation Range:
$25.00–$35.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Performance-based incentives may be considered based on fundraising goals, grant success, and organizational growth.
Mission Alignment
The Director of Development & Community Partnerships will support the mission of the ICS Community Wellness Foundation by helping secure resources that expand access to counseling services, mental health support, trauma-informed care, and emotional wellness programs for individuals and families facing financial barriers to care.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
