Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Non-CDL Flat Bed Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Flatbed Rolloff/Dumper truck to deliver materials to various job sites and customers. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely and secure deliveries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your driving skills and physical strength will make a real impact.
Duties
- Safely operate a flatbed truck with manual transmission to deliver lumber, piling, seawall materials, and dock accessories to designated locations
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Ensure accurate delivery by following route instructions and verifying orders with customers upon arrival
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with loading or unloading and answering their questions professionally
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts
- Assist in warehouse activities such as organizing inventory and preparing shipments when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks safely
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and loading procedures
- Knowledge of route driving and familiarity with local delivery areas is beneficial
- DOT medical card

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
