Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant seating and takeout orders
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring efficient table management and seating arrangements
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) system payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized waitlists and communicate effectively with the team to optimize seating flow
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food service staff by coordinating guest flow and ensuring timely table turnover while adhering to food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, bill splitting, and POS operations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest relations roles will be advantageous
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
