General Purpose:

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is looking for a long-term role where they can truly make a difference in a community-focused service environment. Pay:
$17.00
Essential Duties:
- Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintains inventory records
- Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
- Assists department leaders with social media schedule and creation of content
- Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
- Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
- Performs opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sales system
- Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
- Serves catered parties from service or portable bars
- On occasion, serves meals to guests
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS)
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current industry trends
- Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Demonstrates strong commitment to company values
- Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors
- Fluent in English speaking, writing, and understanding
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
