Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation seating efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings
- Manage waitlists and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Lightspeed
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction during their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest needs and ensuring smooth operations
Experience
- Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food service procedures, POS systems, and guest service standards is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and attentive listening
- Experience in hotel or guest services, serving, or hospitality industries is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
