The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing our organizational culture and fostering an environment where team members thrive. With a focus on strategic HR management and compliance, this position is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with our business goals and promote employee engagement.
The HR Manager will serve as a one-person department for two separate entities with less than 50 employees each, and collaborate with managers to address various employee issues, ensuring effective recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. In addition, this role will drive the implementation of innovative HR strategies, manage full cycle recruiting and onboarding processes, and maintain compliance with labor regulations in a diverse manufacturing and sales centered environment.
This position will be fully on-site at our Carrollton main office, located near Addison Airport and report directly to the Vice-President, Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, manage and enforce comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
- Lead full-cycle talent acquisition, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, training, development, and succession planning.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, COBRA, open enrollment, and carrier billing reconciliation.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing in HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, benefit deductions, reimbursements, commissions, 401(k) contributions, and PTO tracking.
- Lead employee relations matters including coaching, counseling, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Maintain and regularly update the employee handbook and job descriptions to reflect current laws and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws for multi states.
- Design and facilitate internal training and organizational development programs to support employee growth.
- Administer and maintain HRIS platforms and spreadsheets ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
- Lead and respond to HR-related audits and government agency inquiries.
- Serve as liaison to outsourced vendors for HR operations, benefits, and facilities support.
- Maintain accurate and compliant electronic and physical personnel records.
- Coordinate and oversee employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, wellness activities, and safety events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding HR matters
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliation and reporting

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Work Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, including payroll administration
- Previous manufacturing environment experience is a PLUS
- Knowledge in ISO-9001 is a PLUS
