Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing facility team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems utilizing electrical diagnostics tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Diagnose issues with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and other automation components to minimize downtime.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs including welding ( welding if applicable), electrical system diagnostics, and equipment repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with field service operations by performing technical repairs on-site at various manufacturing locations or customer sites.
- Support industrial mechanic activities by reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, electrical systems, and industrial electrician practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex machinery issues and implementing process improvements.
- Operate scissor lifts or other lifting equipment safely for access during maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or technical issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with client-facing roles is a plus for cross-functional support tasks.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, HVAC troubleshooting skills, and ability to perform electrical diagnostics are highly desirable.
- Skilled in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately.
- Experience with welding ( welding if applicable), equipment troubleshooting, and industrial electrician practices.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and field service operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate clear reporting and teamwork in diverse environments.
- Industrial mechanic experience combined with a solid foundation in electrical maintenance is essential.
- Military background or certifications related to industrial maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory.
