Qualifications:

Licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the State of Nebraska as a Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP, LMHP, or LIMHP preferred).

Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, warmth, and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.

Ability to form effective therapeutic relationships and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

Skilled in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or similar modalities.

Ability to assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and adjust interventions based on progress.

Comfort working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring conditions.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently while seeking supervision when appropriate.

Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and professional ethics.

Strong documentation and clinical record-keeping skills.

Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers to support coordinated care.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and feedback.

Flexibility with scheduling, including occasional evening hours based on client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients within the outpatient program.

Complete comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic impressions and clinical recommendations.

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards.

Coordinate care with other providers, both internally and externally, to support client progress.

Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.

Educate clients on mental health topics, coping skills, and strategies for long-term wellness.

Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination to ensure continuity of care.
