Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Server to join our the Calamigos Team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pool Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests and members have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests and members with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring that all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down Pool areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality required; 10 days training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Holidays are blackout days for time off.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.27 per hour
