Job Description
Designstruct, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to fill a position in our architectural drafting department. Applicant's related experience and educational background will determine the potential position/job title.
Preferred candidate will have:
- Create construction plans for small commercial projects.
- Provide timely and accurate design floor plans and exterior elevations as a design development package.
- Maintain CAD standards and blocks.
- Achieves good work habits that include but are not limited to attention to detail, self-starting, planning, taking the task to completion, working on multiple tasks, consistency, follow-through, good time management and willingness to put in the extra effort.

- Strong portfolio to prove AutoCAD skills.
- Employees will be required to collaborate within a team comprised of construction-related trades. The applicant will be tasked with putting together multiple disciplines to create construction drawings and documents for submission to various State and Local entities.
- Strong knowledge of retail, office, and restaurant project types.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience in commercial construction required
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Competency in reading and interpreting plans and blueprints
- Great verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
