Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and provide a friendly first impression
- Manage reservations efficiently using Tock
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, professionally, and courteously, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest flow and timely service
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems such as tock or Toast POS is a plus
- Experience in restaurant operations or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions
