RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Education plays a vital role in shaping and delivering Northwest Trustee’s educational programming. This position oversees the development, execution, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives—including curriculum, webinars, white papers, podcasts, courses, and learning communities—ensuring they are strategically aligned with Northwest Trustee’s mission, vision, values and meaningful challenge.
As a content strategist, program designer, and community builder, the Director of Education partners with the Executive Leadership Team and other external partners and thought leaders to curate meaningful and innovative learning experiences that advance NWT’s mission and strengthen engagement for employees, clients and Centers of Influence (COIs).
The Director of Education will be an empathetic educator with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training and curriculum to empower families to steward wealth for lasting community impact.
Successful candidates for this role will have strong analytical skills, a passion for education and learning, a commitment to continuous learning and improvement, robust technological and communication skills, enjoy seeking out new information and synthesizing findings, excellent time management, a focus on attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships.
DUTIES:
· Content Development: Manage the development, planning and delivery of courses, webinars, podcasts, white papers and other initiatives—recruiting and supporting speakers, overseeing logistics, and ensuring excellence and relevance of content.
· Program Development and Delivery: Provide leadership and direction for NWT’s employee and client education portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, values and meaningful statement.
· Learning Communities or Cohorts: Lead the design and implementation of learning communities to deliver content, grow participant engagement, and enhance learning around stewardship of family wealth.
· Collaboration: Partner with team members, speakers, COIs, volunteers and other external partners to ensure consistency, quality, and impact across all education platforms.
· Evaluation & Innovation: Monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and apply insights to enhance learning experiences and organizational outcomes.
· Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Leadership Team, HR Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, and other staff and partners to evaluation, shape, and refine educational programming.
· Other Duties
- Ensuring adherence to fiduciary policies, procedures, and risk controls
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Promoting effective use of systems, including training platforms, CRM, and document management tools
- Participating in cross‑functional projects and operational initiatives
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in program management, adult education, learning design, curriculum development, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussions, support collaborative learning, and create an inclusive and respectful environment.
- Experience designing and delivering learning programs (both in-person and virtual)
- Familiarity with learning management systems and/or virtual learning platforms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience using continuous improvement methodologies/philosophies
- Strong working knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Preference given to professional certifications, including;
- CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) – OR legacy CPLP
- APTD (Associate Professional in Talent Development)
- CPTM (Certified Professional in Training Management)

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
