Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming and outgoing shipments, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring accurate inventory control. Your proactive approach will help streamline warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and maintain compliance with shipping regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment while developing your skills in warehouse management systems, logistics, and customer service. In this position you need to be ok with multi tasking and remembering things that need to be done daily. Using the forklift is just a little part of the job must be able to lift and move objects around shop.
Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move products within the facility
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for delivery or transfer
- Assist with order fulfillment processes including order packing, and loading for delivery or shipment
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas and maintaining a clean workspace
- Document all shipping & receiving activities
- Adhere to safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or damage
- Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Strong data entry skills coupled with attention to detail for maintaining precise records
- Knowledge of shipping logistics including order fulfillment, packaging standards, and load & unload procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
