Ellsworth County Medical Center is seeking a motivated and independent Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to provide weekend on-call coverage in our rural healthcare setting. Weekend on-call coverage

Manage inpatient, ER support, and/or clinic needs depending on schedule and experience

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and leadership

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a rural setting

Flexible scheduling opportunities available

Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Kansas licensure (or ability to obtain)

DEA certification preferred

Emergency, family practice, hospitalist, or rural health experience preferred

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Education:
Completion of an accredited nursing program with master’s degree and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program; or
Completion of a four-year accredited physician assistant program and a year of clinical training; or
Completion of a two-year accredited physician assistant program plus two years of clinical training following completion of PA program required.
Experience:
Previous experience related to the management of inpatients and ED care required.

Certifications/Registrations:
Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant or APRN, ACLS and PALS current or within 90 days of hire, ATLS current or within 6 months of hire, BLS.
