The Material Handler supports production operations in a fast-paced environment by supplying materials, maintaining organization, and assisting with packaging workflow while following Safe Quality Food (SQF) and GMP standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
- Safety-focused and able to follow written instructions
- Basic math and English skills required
- Forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Distribute materials to the production floor using FIFO (first in, first out)
- Fold and tape boxes and assist with packaging operations
- Track material lots and maintain traceability logs
- Communicate with production, warehouse, and office staff
- Keep material areas clean and organized
- Assist with pallet stacking and finished goods handling
- Help with production waste tracking and logging
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep production floors and operate floor scrubber
- Remove trash from locker rooms, cafeteria, and offices on scheduled days
- Maintain cleanliness of material areas and surrounding facility
Additional Duties
- Follow GMP and safety procedures at all times
- Assist other departments as needed
- Support general housekeeping and facility upkeep
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
