Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and specialty dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances safely and efficiently
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures comply with food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options and ensuring consistency in dish preparation
- Maintain high-volume food production standards while managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Support dietary department guidelines by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs and restrictions
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences through timely meal preparation and serving
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting, preferably with fine dining or catering background
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment including grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production tools
- Skilled in culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, knife skills, and meal preparation for high-volume production
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food industry standards for quality control
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and support team collaboration
