FASHION DESIGN INTERN — PAID INTERNSHIP
Pink Rose Clothing is a dynamic fashion company specializing in women’s apparel, children’s clothing, and accessories. We work with major department stores and online retailers to create trend-right, comfortable, and commercially driven product for today’s customer.
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly organized Fashion Design Intern to support our design and production teams. This paid internship is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in the fashion industry and exposure to the full product development process — from trend research and design concepts to samples, tech packs, fittings, and production follow-up.
Responsibilities
Assist the design and production teams with daily projects, sample coordination, and administrative tasks.
Support trend research, fabric sourcing, color direction, and mood board creation for upcoming collections.
Assist in creating design concepts, CADs, sketches, technical drawings, and presentation boards.
Help organize artwork, CADs, tech files, trims, fabrics, and reference materials.
Prepare, print, and organize design boards, line sheets, production documents, and meeting materials.
Take, edit, and organize product and sample photos for internal records.
Assist with sample check-ins, sample tracking, fittings, garment corrections, and follow-up notes.
Help prepare and update tech packs, specs, tracking documents, and project status reports.
Support communication between design, merchandising, and production teams.
Order, maintain, and organize office, design, and production supplies.
Learn company systems, procedures, and product development workflows.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design, merchandising, product development, or related program.
Strong interest in women’s apparel, children’s clothing, fashion trends, color, fabric, and product development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is strongly preferred.
CAD, tech pack, PLM, or garment construction experience is a plus.
Understanding of garment construction, fit, sewing, specs, and technical design is helpful.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, follow-through, and willingness to jump in where needed.
Creative, proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
