Overview
We are seeking Bussers and Food Runners. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing the overall dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers. Bussers will assist servers and help maintain excellent quality service with dining customers.
Responsibilities
- Food runners deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
- Bussers assist in setting up and clearing tables, including bussing dishes and resetting for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the expediting station.
- Support servers by providing exceptional customer service and anticipating guest needs.
- Adhere to food safety standards and protocols throughout all stages of food handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to operate POS systems for order tracking is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
