Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including medical history and functional limitations
- Design and implement tailored therapy programs utilizing techniques such as orthotics interventions and hand therapy occupational practices
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively to support rehabilitation activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, geriatrics, orthopedics, and dance therapy to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility aids, and post-therapy maintenance strategies
- Document progress meticulously in medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
- Assist in the management of sub-acute and post-acute care cases, including inpatient and outpatient settings
Requirements
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within diverse healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation practices
- Hands-on experience with orthotics interventions in occupational therapy and the operation of medical equipment used in physical therapy
- Background in orthopedics, geriatrics, inpatient care, outpatient clinics, or post-acute settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand therapy occupational practices and dance therapy techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress
