$20hr to $24hr depending on experience.
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a bilingual (Spanish & English) Receptionist to join their fast paced and high energy team in Glendale or West Hills.
Job Description: The Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive first impression for all traffic (telephone or in-person) in the Express office. As the office hub and host/hostess, the Front Office Coordinator ensures that all administration activities, incoming calls, and applicant flow moves smoothly. FOCs organize all office activities to ensure all tasks are met to the satisfaction of the internal team, clients, associates, and applicants. During peak periods, FOCs must be able to prioritize critical and urgent tasks in a logical and efficient manner to ensure daily activity moves along in an organized manner.
Essential functions:
- Answer phone calls and quickly determine the caller's need to route calls in a prompt and courteous manner. Being the first person applicants speak with gives you the opportunity to make the best first impression.
- Communicate and help individuals via phone/text/email in both Spanish and English.
- Greet and process all job applicants and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. You will also direct skills evaluations and answer routine questions.
- Manage the applicant flow and prepare candidates for interviews by administering employment applications and appropriate skills testing.
- Review and enter the online applications Express receives daily in our Office Candidate tracking system.
- Assist with recruiting efforts and provide information about Express's services on an as-needed basis.
- Provide office clerical support by typing correspondence, filing, and preparing mailings allows you to be up to date with all happening within the office.
Knowledge and skills:
- Bilingual - Spanish & English
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must type 45 wpm.
- 2 years minimum in customer service.
- Possess the ability to read and comprehend various employment-related documents and materials.
- We ask that you're able to perform the basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Having solid computer skills and the ability to operate a multi-line telephone system, fax machines and other standard office equipment is a must to perform the daily tasks of this position.
- Having the ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, professional manner makes the daily task of your job easier and allows you to do your job more efficiently.
- We ask that you are an independent person so that you can perform your job with minimal supervision.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
