Provive Wellness is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for mental health (MH) and substance use disorders (SUD). As we continue to grow our Indianapolis-area facility, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations (DOO) to lead and optimize our daily operations, drive organizational excellence, and ensure the highest standard of care delivery.
Position Overview
The Director of Operations serves as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for the overall administrative, operational, and compliance functions of the facility. This individual will work closely with clinical leadership and executive management to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compliant operations that support our mission of compassionate behavioral health care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations, including administrative, admissions, and facility management teams
Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and Indiana FSSA/DMHA requirements
Manage financial oversight, including budget planning, expense management, and billing optimization
Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff to foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
Partner with clinical leadership to align operational functions with quality patient care goals
Continuously evaluate and improve operational systems, workflows, and service delivery
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, audits, and accreditation surveys
Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and industry partners
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and outcomes
Support strategic planning initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare operations management; behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of Joint Commission standards and Indiana state regulations (FSSA and DMHA)
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
