Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for innovative menu development. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, managing inventory, and maintaining high-quality food service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary direction of our establishment while fostering a positive team culture and upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and sous chefs ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Develop and update menus that reflect current culinary trends while aligning with the establishment’s brand and customer preferences
- Oversee food production processes, including cooking, plating, and serving to ensure consistency and excellence
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Train staff on food handling, safety protocols, and culinary techniques to promote continuous improvement
- Monitor shift management to ensure smooth operations during designated service hours
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to meet financial goals
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service through quality control and staff training

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
