Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team, dedicated to ensuring the optimal operation of facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical systems and building infrastructure. Your expertise will help keep our facilities safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. Duties
- Perform electrical repairs and installations on various systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including motors, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other building infrastructure to ensure continuous operation.
- Use hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, piping, and HVAC components as needed to uphold building comfort and safety standards.
- Supervise or assist in welding tasks for structural or equipment repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support facilities interior maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and general repairs to enhance the building environment.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings for complex electrical or mechanical projects.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance tasks ensuring safety compliance and quality standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or facility users.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical work within facilities maintenance or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior upkeep.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical equipment repair techniques.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a commercial or residential setting.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches along with diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
