Role Overview:
As a Crew Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team of 2–4 installers on job sites throughout the year. You’ll also assist with warehouse operations and help maintain our rental equipment so it’s always safe, clean, and ready for the next event. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside your crew while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to Twinkle Nights’ quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and supervise a team of light installation crew members
- Ensure safe, clean, and professional installations at residential and commercial properties
- Perform hands-on installation work outdoors, including tasks at elevation, on ladders, and in various weather conditions.
- Use tools and teamwork to ensure clean, detailed, and professional installations
- Manage daily job sites, delegate tasks, and ensure timelines are met
- Maintain a high standard of detail, safety, and quality
- Communicate with customers professionally and ensure satisfaction
- Troubleshoot installation issues and provide hands-on support
- Bring creativity, care, and a dash of holiday magic to every project
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership and Jobsite Work
- Lead a crew of 2–4 installers on lighting and event setup jobs.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards.
- Train new or seasonal staff on tools, techniques, and safety practices.
- Communicate clearly with the Operations Manager and provide jobsite updates.
Job Details:
- $23/hour +
- Attendance and Production Bonuses (Paid each pay period and at the end of the season)
- Plenty of overtime opportunities
- Season runs September through the end of January
- Physically demanding: long days, ladder work, and in all-weather conditions
- Some shifts can run 12+ hours during peak season
- Temporary seasonal position with the opportunity to become permanent
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Dependable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working at heights and with hand tools
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in light installation, roofing, electrical, or general contracting
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- Strong eye for detail, job site organization, and pride in your work
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Have basic tech skills using various softwares on tablets, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Safety certification or OSHA knowledge is a plus

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays for makeup days
- 10 – 12+ hour shifts, especially during peak season
