Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing services, and vehicle recovery. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to handle various mechanical issues. Responsibilities: - Respond to service calls and provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists - Operate a tow truck and safely load, transport, and unload vehicles - Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed - Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction - Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork - Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the tow truck - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Handle conflict management situations professionally and calmly
Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive diagnostics and repair - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - Ability to operate a flatbed tow truck or other towing equipment - Proficient in using tools and equipment related to towing operations - Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure - Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes
