Position Overview:
Hilton Head Running Company is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail, community engagement, and delivering exceptional in-store experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily retail operations while helping create a vibrant, event-driven store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations Management
- Drive sales performance through excellent customer service and proven sales experience
- Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, receiving products, and maintaining accuracy
- Execute merchandising strategies to ensure an appealing and effective in-store presentation
- Provide insight and recommendations on product buying and inventory planning based on sales trends
In-Store Events & Promotions
- Plan and execute engaging in-store events such as shoe demos, sales promotions, and race expos
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate and deliver special events and product showcases
- Develop and manage events that enhance customer experience and bring unique value to the local running community
Required Qualifications:
- Previous retail sales experience required
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort with retail systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
