Overview
ES Solar is looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to lead vendor and distributor relationships, oversee inventory and supply chain operations, and drive cost- effective, reliable equipment sourcing across our multi-state, multi-warehouse operation. This role owns distributor negotiations, manages a growing procurement team, and partners closely with warehouse, finance, and leadership teams to keep equipment flowing and pricing competitive as the business scales.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor and distributor relationships, negotiating to keep pricing competitive
- Manage credit limits and payment terms with vendors and distributors to align with business needs
- Own and maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs) to ensure correct equipment is ordered
- Coordinate with warehouses to ensure adequate product availability, and communicate equipment changes and the reasoning behind them
- Manage the procurement department, including a Supply Chain Specialist handling purchasing and pricing analysis and an Inventory & Operations Coordinator managing sales orders, PO tracking, and inventory accuracy
- Serve as the liaison between procurement and accounting/finance, ensuring alignment and troubleshooting how inventory flows through financials
- Build tools and dashboards to support pricing forecasts, vendor equipment and demand forecasts, and clear leadership reporting on equipment and pricing trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally in solar, construction, or a related industry
- Experience negotiating vendor contracts, pricing, and payment terms
- Experience managing or mentoring a team
- Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills; comfort building tracking tools and dashboards
- Solid understanding of how inventory and purchasing flow through financial systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, and leadership teams

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
