Role: Travel Registered Nurse – ICU/PCU
Location: Honesdale, PA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Holidays: Required
Experience: ICU/PCU experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients in the ICU/PCU setting.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
- Manage patients requiring intensive and progressive care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Float between ICU and PCU as needed.
Requirements
- ICU RN experience required
- PCU experience recommended
- Active PA RN or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS required
- PALS required due to occasional pediatric patients in the ICU
- Strong critical-care assessment and clinical skills
- Meditech experience preferred
Assignment Highlights
13-week travel contract
Night shift – 7 PM to 7 AM
36 hours/week
Every-other-weekend rotation
Holiday coverage required
No block scheduling
ICU-focused assignment with PCU floating as needed
Local travelers accepted
Any scrub color
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
Application Question(s):
- PCU experience recommended
- PALS required due to occasional pediatric patients in the ICU
