Full - Time, 40 Hours Per Week, 4-10 Hour Shifts 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Directly responsible for duties specifically involved with the instrumentation and technical aspects of the operative event. Has comprehensive knowledge of, and ability to, implement principles of aseptic/sterile technique. Has knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment use and care. Has knowledge of surgical procedures and basics of care to include anesthesia and potential complications. Understands proper patient positioning techniques and precautions using age specific criteria when planning patient care. Recognizes signs of urgent/emergency situations and associated interventions.
