Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our sign shop. As a Warning Lites employee you will be responsible for assisting in the production, installation, and finishing of signs, graphics, and displays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with their hands, be able to work efficiently, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of various types of signage including vinyl, printed, and dimensional signs.
- Prepare and cut materials for sign production (vinyl, acrylic, aluminum, etc.).
- Operate sign-making equipment such as printers, laminators, and plotters.
- Apply vinyl graphics to various surfaces, including vehicles, windows, and walls.
- Assist in the installation of signs at client locations, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Communicate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sign production or a related field.
- Knowledge of sign-making tools and equipment (printers, plotters, laminators, etc.)
- Competency with computers and file management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Valid driver’s license (for installation and on-site work).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
