Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Psychologist for EXCEL Pain and Spine specializing in Telehealth Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.
- Manage intake processes, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress through regular patient assessments.
- Deliver crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related disorders.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate care for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in telehealth therapy, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and behavioral health.
Skills
- Proven experience in clinical counseling across diverse settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, or school environments.
- Expertise in Child & Family Counseling, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, psychological testing, and mental health diagnostics.
- Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and managing trauma-related disorders effectively.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and supporting behavioral health needs through evidence-based interventions.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms, HIPAA compliance standards, and digital patient communication tools.
- Supervising experience is preferred to mentor junior clinicians or trainees within clinical settings.
